Operation Christmas Child

November Events

November is an exciting—but busy—month for Operation Christmas Child. Here are some OCC events happening this month:

November 3, 2021:

Packing party at the church. Packing begins at 1:00pm. It typically takes about an hour or hour and a half to complete packing 100 OCC shoeboxes. We would like to invite everyone to participate!

November 6, 2021:

Drop Off Training at Bridger Valley Baptist Church in Lyman. Training begins at 10am. If you would like to learn more about the process of what happens after you pack a shoebox, you are invited to attend.

November 15-22, 2021:

This is collection week. Judy Jones will have a sign-up sheet for volunteers to help during this time. We will deliver cartons to Bridger Valley by 2pm on November 22nd. This will be a culmination of all the packing parties. All shoeboxes are placed into large containers and delivered to the Valley for distribution to Denver.

November 28 – December 1, 2021:

Please pray for Judy Jones and Deborah Trotter as they travel to Denver to help out at the main distribution center for our region. They will be learning as they go! This will be an exciting time to learn about the process of packaging and organizing the thousands of boxes that begin their journey into the hands of kids all across the world!!
